We're in Orange and our house was built mid to late 60s. We know all the near neighbors - most of them introduced themselves within a week of us moving in.JennCnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2614048139535089278.post-34587113036875687932015-08-08T11:27:17.154-07:002015-08-08T11:27:17.154-07:00We're getting ready to sell our house in Orang...We're getting ready to sell our house in Orange and I just touched up the beige paint I never got around to painting over.JennCnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2614048139535089278.post-88428532122301717422015-08-07T19:57:53.879-07:002015-08-07T19:57:53.879-07:00Hi Lisa, I found your blog when I was looking for ...Hi Lisa, I found your blog when I was looking for photos of Waverly Olana fabric and you posted a chair upholstered in it. Anyway, I really like your blog and I mentioned you on my blog, http://thesimpleyear.com/. I love seeing all your photos. I love what you've done with your house. :) Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15347675657144162372noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2614048139535089278.post-15270490322361680862015-08-04T19:14:54.939-07:002015-08-04T19:14:54.939-07:00thanks Kelly---my life has improved dramatically s...thanks Kelly---my life has improved dramatically since moving here--I'm driving so much less. The kids miss all their friends though. As usual, Irvine is like the zombie apocalypse. We've been here four months and haven't met a soul in our neighborhood. No kids at all. I do hope the move is making life & commuting easier overall, though! Every single other apartment we looked at was some hideous shade of beige. Its a pandemic here. Is there anyone who likes beige walls?" I guess there must be. BUT, I don't think it's a death knell of ugliness. Really. I'm not just saying that to be nice. I like the white and blue idea. I say ride that pony as far as you can go. :-)Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13551793959655853424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2614048139535089278.post-78041539693579397982015-07-30T14:05:21.463-07:002015-07-30T14:05:21.463-07:00You would know better than I would! Obviously, I'm not much of a painter!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17665169759937554417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2614048139535089278.post-26849755519249956062015-07-30T10:35:50.608-07:002015-07-30T10:35:50.608-07:00ooh, that wallpaper is interesting! Check out a post on the blog "Simple Details," dated July 27, 2015. http://simpledetailsblog.blogspot.com/ She's showing an ORC room with nail heads on the ceiling, BUT if you scroll down for her inspiration picture, there is some wallpaper that might be worth looking at before you paint that canvas.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17665169759937554417noreply@blogger.com
