I got curtains on the brain, apparently. Today I was perusing Pinterest and came across this pretty picture:
Following the links to the Sweet Magnolia Way blog, I discovered that these curtains were tablecloths. WELL HELLO, wish I had thought of that a few days sooner. Because using a 108" tablecloth would be even easier than making curtains from shower curtains.
I've seen that Dwell suzani tablecloth at my local Targets, but it doesn't seem to be available online anymore.
A perusal of what the internets has to offer brings up some other pretty ones. This Marimekko tablecloth from Crate and Barrel reminds me of this wallpaper:
This blue pinwheel pattern from Anthropologie:
And a whole bunch from World Market:
