The One Room Challenge is in Week Five already!
Time flies when you don't even start till Week Three. (See Week Three and Four.)
This week I did three things.
Thing one: paint the bombe side tables from black to Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy.
Thing two: yarn-bomb George the longhorn steer. George has been through a few moves, and cardboard is not the most sturdy of materials. I had to get very creative with a stapler, some shims and tape. I feel that George could probably use one more stripe of color but I am afraid to disassemble him.
Thing three: I hung the curtains. There is still a bit of work left to be done on that project.
I still need to make pillows. This entails using my sewing machine for the first time. I think I can, I think I can....

Love those table painted blue. Gorgeous. George looks amazing too.

DeleteGeorge looks good with his horn hat. You know, I've been thinking I need to repaint the glass door from black to navy--but I think that would give me a hert attck. So, me, no, but you--good call.

ReplyDeleteJust plain white ones for the master bedroom, but they need to be lengthened. (Still debating on the guest bedroom).
DeleteLove that side table- looks beautiful. I just LOVE that color. I feel like I need to paint something in my house that color. I see it a lot and every time, I'm in love with it. Great work this week. Good luck with the final week!
