After finishing my bedroom curtains, I felt cocky and decided to stencil my roller blinds. The headboard has a giant fleur di lis, so I stenciled a navy blue fleur di lis on the roller blind.
I should have stopped while I was ahead.
It didn't quite turn out the way it looked in my head. In my head it was cool, with a random pattern. In real life it is..not cool. And apparently I am too OCD to actually do a random pattern, because with the exception of one misplaced stencil, it looks like a pretty evenly spaced staggered pattern.
So! I've ruined two blinds. I need to fall back and regroup here. I feel that there have been a bunch of design fails around here lately.
However, in very exciting news, I FINALLY finished the dining room curtains I made out of shower curtains. But its now 11 pm on Thursday night, so I'll wait till Friday to take pictures. Hopefully by lunchtime on Friday I'll have a post up.
I am not going to think about the fact that my little ones will wake me up in about six hours.
