We put our new bed together this weekend. We bought a platform bed from West Elm, and attached it to a headboard we got on craigslist a few months ago. We are no longer sleeping on the floor!
I also got one lonely imperial trellis knockoff pillow from Target.
As for pretty pillows, I'd like to eventually make some new euro shams in a navy and white fabric. But the piece de resistance--I want a long bolster in chiang mai dragon fabric, to go with the painting that is taking me forever and a day. I'll probably save up enough money to get that pillow before I finish that painting. Big plans, people, big plans.
Some day (not in the previous three houses, but SOMEDAY) I will own a house where I do not have to put my bed under an off-center window.
