displaying children's art

My kids create a prodigious amount of art, so I wanted a way to display it that would allow for frequent rotation of new artwork.  In our previous house I had pictures framed in a gallery wall around the tv, and I thought I would do a gallery wall here, but decided instead that I wanted something less formal.

We have a brick wall on the wall in the kitchen.  I hate interior brick walls. I will be painting it eventually.  In the meantime, I put two corkboards up on the brick.

And voila, an art gallery.

How do you hang your children's art?

  1. That is so fantastic!!!
(Also... I think that brick is so pretty and will be sad when you paint it. But I'm lame like that. ;))

  2. Lisa,
I love it here! A perfect space for it and the kids can reach the lower bulletin board and change the art themselves.

  3. oh ... I LOVE brick walls inside ... especially the real ancient vintage ones, the kind you spy in old loft spaces or row houses! and what a perfect backdrop for these little masterpieces, Lisa!

  4. Clever idea! My kid does a lot of art too. I can't seem to part with it even though it all looks exactly the same.
