Petrie sofa, finally

My sofa arrived for the third time this morning.

And for the third time, there was some small damage to the upholstery behind the cushions.  I guess Crate and Barrel is incapable of making a sofa without some defect in it.  We are keeping the sofa, however, because the damage spot is small and in an inconspicuous place, and we need a place to sit.  Crate and Barrel is still going to get an earful.

Looks pretty from afar, doesn't it?

  1. I hope you're getting some of your money back for that! Pretty sofa though!

  2. Love the sofa and yes! I would demand a discount of sorts.

  3. And ask them to add some extra discount for all the trouble and time with no sofa! That's pretty crappy.

  4. What the heck is up with them?? You'd think with all the money they charge you'd get some quality.

  5. I've never ordered from Crate & Barrel and I strongly suspect I won't in the future based on this. It does look awesome though.

  7. The couch looks great, sorry to hear that it has been such a hassle to get it without damage.

  8. Absolutely gawgeous - the couch & that end table (also C&B?) next to it. ! I agree, though, that C&B owes you a discount.
